While working as a freelance UX & Information Designer for CNN, I was tasked with designing a digital interactive to accompany the release of an educational television series about the modern day Silk Road. The interactive needed to follow the route of the show, containing additional facts, a short summary of each location and links to related articles.
The interactive was built to work across all platforms. We tested it with users on mobile devices, older browsers and new desktops to ensure the experience was successful for as many users as possible. Testing it gave us a chance to make adjustments before release.
